Hey, pretty people!

I have brought quite a few haircare recipes on the blog, but I have never cooked something so specific like this one.

The shampoo will still work if you don’t have blonde hair, don’t worry, but of course will give best results on lighter hair.

It’s probably the most gentle recipe I have ever thought about, but it still has a whole bunch of amazing properties to it.

Ready to find out what they are?

Let’s get started!

YOU’LL NEED

  • 1⁄4 cup of Chamomile Tea
  • 1 Tablespoon of Honey
  • 2 Vitamin E Oil tabs
  • 1 cup of Castile Soap
  • An empty shampoo bottle

Before jumping into the crafting process, let’s talk a little bit about these ingredients.

CHAMOMILE TEA

Chamomile teais awesome when it comes to fighting dandruff and promoting a healthy scalp, as well as promoting hair growth. This liquid can also brighten your hair up, enhancing the glow of any hair color.

HONEY

Honey can also lighten up your hair, but also moisturize it. It promotes healthy hair and scalp, minimizing breakage and split ends. It’s pretty amazing when it comes to adding shine as well.

VITAMIN E OIL

Vitamin E Oil is kind of an optional ingredient, but I highly suggest adding it to the mixture. Not only it will preserve your shampoo, but also add some shine and moisture to the hair.

Alright, let’s get crafting!

The first thing you want to do is make your chamomile tea. Leave the tea bag infusing into the hot water for 5-7 minutes, then leave the liquid cooling down for another 15 minutes.

You want to add the honey to a cooled down liquid, so that it won’t lose its properties.

Once you poured it in, mix everything for a little bit. This is also the perfect time to add the Vitamin E Oil tabs.

Once the liquid is smooth and clear, it’s time to add the Castille soap and mix everything once more.

Keep stirring for a couple of minutes, and as soon as you feel like it’s enough, give the mixture a couple stirs more.

And your shampoo for blonde hair is all ready to go!
