Hey, pretty people!

Discoloration, dark spots and hyperpigmentation are common skin issues to deal with, and natural solutions aren’t always too easy to come by; this facial exfoliator, however, may just make things a lot simpler for you. It’s a pretty simple solution, but quite the effective one!

The crafting process is insanely easy and quick; moreover, it’s incredibly cheap to make!

This Skin Brightening Facial Exfoliator is the perfect on-the-go solution not only to enhance your natural skintone, but fight other issues as well. In fact, it will help you fight texture and dryness, as well as reduce irritation and inflammation.

So, are you ready to find out how to make your own DIY Skin Brightening Facial Exfoliator?

Let’s get crafting!

YOU’LL NEED

  • 1/2 cup of Sugar
  • 1/4 cup of Aloe Vera Gel
  • 3 Tablespoons of Lemon Peel Infused Water
  • 3 Tablespoons of Chamomile Tea with Honey
  • A bowl

Before jumping into the crafting process, let’s quickly talk about these ingredients and a few of their benefits for your skin.

ALOE VERA GEL

Aloe Vera Gel is one of the most popular after-sun care in the natural department, and of course needs to be the base of this Skin Brightening Gel. This ingredient is perfect to gently moisturize your skin, and also has an amazing healing power. In fact, it can help with wounds, cuts and burns. Moreover, it can help reduce dark spots and enhance your natural complexion.

LEMON PEEL

Lemon Peel is wonderfully packed with calcium, as well as Vitamin C. Both of these elements are essential to brightening the complexion, and also fight issues like hyperpigmentation and dark spots. Moreover, this ingredient is rich in antioxidants too, which are essential to the skin’s health. It may help with acne and breakouts, too.

CHAMOMILE TEA

Chamomile Tea is a super gentle ingredient for your skin, and yet another one that will brighten up your skintone – as well as fight discoloration and hyperpigmentation. It is perfect to treat acne and irritation, and also a good natural choice to treat redness and inflammation.

HONEY

A natural antiseptic, Honey is the go-to ingredient when it comes to healthy, glowing skin. Full of hydrating properties, this ingredient will help you fight acne and imperfections, promoting a healthier and clearer complexion. Moreover, it will help enhance your natural skintone fighting hyperpigmentation and discoloration.

Alright, let’s get crafting!

Firstly, you want to make your chamomile tea; allow the tea bag to infuse into the water for 5 minutes, then take it out and let the tea cool down for 20 minutes. Lastly, add the honey and stir until the two are combined.

Now, it’s time to focus on the lemon-peel infused water; make sure to wash the lemon beforehand. Once you have your peels ready, let them infuse into the water for a couple of hours at least, then sift the liquid to eliminate all the residues.

Once your liquids are cool, it’s time to mix them with each other; then, add them to the aloe vera gel and sugar.

Lastly, mix all of the ingredients togehter for a couple of minutes; make sure they all really got to know each other, and keep going until you have the smoothest consistency possible (for a scrub).

And your DIY Skin Brightening Facial Exfoliator is all ready to go!
