I started off this Taylor Swift outfit series as a sort of manifestation excercise to hopefully get The Eras Tour tickets for the european dates, and guess what? Yes, I did, in fact, manage to do it!
I will be attending The Eras Tour in Summer 2024, and couldn’t be happier about it!
But enough chit chat, let’s get to the aesthetic of this post: Speak Now.
This is Taylor Swift’s third album, and the most recent one she re-recorded. You can listen to Speak Now: Taylor’s Version here!
In this article we’ll examine Speak Now’s aesthetic to the bone, and we’ll see exactly how to work it into your outfits. I also included 10 outfits inspo for you!
So, are you ready to find out everything you need to know about this album’s aesthetic?
Let’s jump right in!
Since I am by no means a music expert, I’ll just give you a couple of quick infos about this work.
Speak Now was released in October 2010, and from it came 6 singles: Ours, Mine, Back To December, Mean, Sparks Fly and The Story Of Us. I am especially fond of this last song, since it was the very first one I heard, and that’s how I came across Taylor Swift in the first place!
This album is a good combination of country pop and also pop rock, and in my ignorant opinion I think the rock element is much more prominent in her recent re-release.
Again, you can listen to it here!
Generally, the aesthetic of Speak Now is a much more condensed one compared to the previous albums we saw. You can click here to see all of the outfits inspo for the Eras Tour!
The underlying romantic theme of the record is what ties everything together, and is declined in your usual symbols like hearts, flowers and also butterflies.
Something that we see plenty of when it comes to Speak Now is an abundance of stars, sparkles and anything of the sort.
The main hue representative of the album is purple, and there’s no questioning that!
You can go about this shade in any way you’d like, although a richer, more saturated tone is definitely the way to go.
