Styling Clothes I Sewed: Palazzo Pants | Styling Palazzo Pants

I embraced sewing as a hobby during the Summer of 2023, and ever since I have sewed only a couple of pieces. These palazzo pants were the first, and today I’ll style them in 10 different ways!

Are you looking for the most effective ways to have the most earth-shattering, all-around glow up this 2024? Click here!

Hey, pretty people!

Sewing has been a steady hobby of mine for a little over half a year now, and I have been enjoying it quite a lot.

Granted, I haven’t completed that many projects – at the time of writing this, only 3 pieces have made it all the way to my closet. 2 palazzo pants and a long skirt; I am currently working on a dress, but I’ll be honest with you: it’s going quite slow.

I have decided to pick these palazzo pants since they’re the ones I have been wearing the most ever since finishing them.

They’re definitely more of a statement piece, and something that’s quite interesting to style because of that!

Now, without further ado, let’s style these tiger pants!

BEFORE WE START

Before jumping straight into the outfits, let me just cover a few basics about this item.

We’re styling palazzo pants, a very simple and versatile cut to work with. You could easily use a pair like this to go to the office or to school, or to a simple date with friends.

These pants may be a little too flashy for your regular Monday morning at work, since the fabric is quite bright and satin-like. The tiger prints make this piece of clothing more of a statement piece, meant to take center stage.

I have tried to create many different types of looks, and I hope you’ll feel inspired by them to experiment around with your own fashion sense!

OUTFIT #1

Let’s start off with something nice and simple! This ensemble is a pretty basic and versatile one, an outfit you can throw on when you want something simple. A white turtleneck is a great buffer piece to add to your closet, and when paired with these pants and white boots creates quite a sophisticated look!

OUTFIT #2

This monochromatic outfit is another everyday choice, and one that gives off a pretty sublte stylish vibe. The sweater and coat give it a Fall and Winter feel, and it’s one of my favorite combos to use during the colder months!

OUTFIT #3

Personally, I love the brown and blue combo, and I definitely wanted to incorporate it within this selection of looks. This in an unquestionably bolder outfit, and one that manages to captivate one’s attention right away. There’s quite a lot going on, but I am certainly not mad at it!

OUTFIT #4

Bright yellow and brown together make for a striking combination, and I do believe the intriguing vibe of this outfit greatly benefits from it! The beige sweater can easily take this look back to office hours, but the yellow bodysuit makes for a great party or cocktail piece.

OUTFIT #5

Continuing on this bolder streak, here’s another flashy yet super stylish ensemble! The green is quite a bright one, and it substantially contrasts the brown of the pants. It’s quite a fun cocktail-hour outfit!

OUTFIT #6

This is the last green outfit, where the shade turns into a more sophisticated olive – but the fun vibes are ever present. Even more than the previous one, this looks falls a bit more on the elegant side for me. I wouldn’t exactly wear it to work, of course, but there’s just something so fashionable about it.

OUTFIT #7

To me, this particular outfit straddles the fine line between ‘casual, comfortable, didn’t even want to pick an actual outfit out for the day’ and ‘highly stylish outfit you could see on Rihanna and think it’s high fashion’. Granted, everything looks high fashion on Rihanna – but this outfit is just too interesting and fun to pass up! It plays with 3 different textures (one for the pants, one for the sweater and one for the boots), and uses one of the best combinations out there – blue and brown.

OUTFIT #8

This eighth ensemble is a more serious one, and it could even border on boring for some people. It’s a classic I wear whenever I don’t want to spend too much time on my outfit, and works well anytime and for (almost) any occasion! The white sweater and white boots create the ever-so-stylish sandwich effect, while the camel coat provides the effortless trendy aura to tie everything together.

OUTFIT #9

We’re nearing the end, and this is a comfortable everyday solution you can easily throw on for any occasion. It’s comfortable yet modern, a look you can use at school and to take a stroll in your town. Add a black hat and it would become even more voguish!

OUTFIT #10

This last ensemble is another ultra-modern combo, with brown and light blue. The pants can finally be used as a true statement piece, while the light blue provide the fashionable contrast that immediately catches your eye. I especially love how the heel of the boots pairs with the brown of the palazzo pants!
