Maxi skirts date back to (almost9 ancient times, and it very much seems like they’re making a comeback as of recently. And as it would appear, they’re stronger than ever!
In my experience, the appeal of this item of clothing stands in its versatily – and I am not referring to its possible pairings (not entirely, at least).
Nowadays, in fact, maxi skirts can come in a wide variety of materials and textiles, not to mention colors and fantasies. From denim to satin, there truly is something for everyone when it comes to them!
Now, how can we navigate through the maxi skirts world with such a good diversity to choose from?

If you needed an example of how wide the maxi skirt range goes, Jennifer Holland at the Guardians Of The Galaxy première is the way to go. The sequin material pays homage to the outer-space theme, catching all the lights in the right way and making it appear like an actual constellation.
The actress and singer sported the perfect casual chic look at the première of her latest movie, The Mother, and once again we’re reminded of her impeccable sense of style. The all-white look can be slightly challenging, but I do believe J-Lo was more than able to pull it off.
Granted, this isn’t one of the most recent looks of the bunch, but I do believe it’s still worth mentioning. The ‘Scandal’ star has declined this year’s Met Gala theme perfectly in my opinion, resulting in one of the most underrated looks of the 2023 red carpet. Perfectly elegant and stylish, I wouldn’t expect any less from Olivia Pope!
