The Ultimate Guide on Creating Your Own Subliminal Messages

Hey, pretty people!

It’s been a hot minute ever since I posted my Ultimate Guide on Subliminals; I was fairly satisfied with that article, even if it was one of my earliest works.

That guide is a good starting point if you are completely new to this whole thing and want to gather a couple more infos. On the other hand, it’s a pretty basic one as well.

If you don’t feel completely comfortable using other people’s subliminals on YouTube, you can make your own. It may seem difficult at first, but it’s actually quite the easy practice!

So, are you ready to find out how to make your own subliminals?

Let’s get started!

STEP 1 – Establishing What You Want

Whether you want to do it on a piece of paper or on your phone’s notes, it doesn’t really matter. You want to write down everything you possibly want from listening to your subliminal.

Sit down and think about what you want. Maybe you would like to better your focus, or to be more motivated to study.

Whatever the case may be, write it down in a clear sentence; also, don’t be afraid to list multiple things! Don’t put a limit on your mind, and keep the possibilities open.

STEP 2 – Write Your Affirmations Down

This is the perfect time to open your PC notes and start writing the proper affirmations down, one after the other, with only periods separating them.

You want to write the affirmations in the present tense and in first person. Since the messages are supposed to directly reach your subconscious, it would be useful to use this format.

For example: “I am always motivated to study. I am always full of motivation to study. I am always motivated to go to school” etc.

STEP 3 – Convert Into Audio

Now that you have all of your beautiful affirmations written down, it’s time to convert them into audio. Or rather, actually creating your subliminal messages!

There are many online softwares that do it for free, and a simple ‘text to speech’ or ‘text to audio’ google search will fix that. However, some of them will have a maximum total of words they’ll convert in one time.

It would possibly take a couple of tries to find the perfect software, but once you’ll find it it will take only a couple of minutes to have the perfect audio.

STEP 4 – Speed Up Your Audio

Truthfully, this step could be optional. I feel like it helps with the results in general, but feel free to skip it if you don’t want to do it.

Once again, the types of softwares that do this online and for free are endless; just upload your audio and speed it up as many time as you’d like. There really isn’t a proper rule of how many times you should repeat the process. If you don’t feel completely comfortable having a 10-seconds subliminal, make sure the final length is still a couple of minutes long.

STEP 5 – Editing

This step is 100% customizable according to your personal likings, and it’s also an optional one. If you don’t feel like adding music or making a proper video out of your subliminal affirmations, your job is complete, congratulations!

On the other hand, there are a couple of ways to ‘elevate’ your subliminal; the first one being music.

You can layer songs or relaxing sounds, like rain or nature ones, on top of your audio. If you plan on listening to it throughout the night as well, I would suggest you to pick something soothing and relaxing. Moreover, rain sounds will raise a lot less doubts if somebody were to hear them in the middle of the night!

Also, adding some music to your subliminal messages is the perfect way to mask the affirmations and make sure yor subconscious will hear them. I know it doesn’t make much sense, but information picked up subconsciously are way more effective. It is a bit outland-ish, but you can check out this super interesting article to find out more about it.

Another way to spice up your subliminal is to make a proper video out of it. In fact, you could use pictures or videos to make the sub more interesting to watch, if you wanted to. This is once again an optional step, so feel free to skip it altogether!

STEP 6 – Save And Enjoy

Now that you have your video or your affirmations ready, it’s time to save your file and enjoy it!

I would recommend to play it at a comfortable volume, to keep yourself hydrated and to take breaks every once in a while. Also, you can even upload it on YouTube, if you’d like.

Once again, you can take a look at this post for a complete guide on what subliminal messages are and how to navigate through them!

  1. A question about speeding up; is it okay if I speed it up to such a degree that I cannot understand it with my conscious mind? Will my subconscious mind still process it?

    1. Absolutely! I have seen people get results from subliminals who are just mere seconds long; even if your conscious mind won’t be able to process what you’re hearing, your subconscious definitely will.

    2. Yes, your subconscious will still understand it. Subliminal affirmations work better when speeded. You subconscious is a powerful being.

    1. Pretty much the same way as this page has already described (then place it within a video ad), but then, Facebook will likely shut your account down (perhaps unless you are a household brand name spending multi-millions on ads a day; an account so profitable that they wouldn’t wish to risk it stopping).

I personally know people spending averages of tens of thousands each day and they occasionally get Facebook Business Manager accounts closed for far less than such as that, over a simple misperception.

Plus, I would highly recommend you thoroughly read their terms and policies to fully understand they can still shut you down for any perceived skirting of any policy. Perhaps you were simply joking?

Here’s an idea… Maybe create a subliminal for yourself to continually live a fabulous life of integrity through valued service to others in a way that you find ethically energizing for you to do and enjoy.
      😉👍

  2. Thanks. The subconscious doesn’t know about space and time right?
So making a affirmation like: “my body and face look exactly like in 2007” won’t work I guess?

    1. It will work as long as you have a clear picture in your head; let’s say you wanted your face and body to look the same they did in 2007: if you clearly have that picture in your mind and can picture yourself with that look, you’re all set!

  3. How mang affirmations can i put in one subliminal if they are all realated to one topic. I have 100 so far and that seems like too much they are very detailed affirmations could someone please tell me if that is too many?? 🥺😅

    1. Don’t limit yourself! The number of affirmations only matters if you think it does.
If you’re thinking that 100 is too much, then it will be too much; on the other hand, if you adopt the mindset that your subconscious can absorb as many affirmations as you want (spoiler alert: it can!), then that will be the case.
Your subconscious isn’t dumb or stubborn; it will absorb every single affirmations you want it to, no matter how many you want it to absorb.

  4. Hey, knowing the affirmations myself will slow down the process? I mean will I get results slower?

    1. This is one of the most absurd limiting beliefs ever spread!
Knowing the affirmations will help your results; you’ll be able to repeat them throughout the day, and your subconscious will become even more saturated with them.
Don’t let limiting beliefs take over you, you are powerful and way above them! 💕

  5. so when i add music do the subliminal do i turn the text to speech all the way down, or should i be able to hear the music as well as the message?

    1. You can do it either way; hearing the affirmations doesn’t prevent you from getting your results. If you personally think hearing the sentences is more effective, then let them be louder; on the other hand, feel free to have the music louder if you so prefer.

    1. Hi!

If the thought of lowering the volume too much already makes you kind of nervous, I would advise you against it.
Not hearing the affirmations with your ‘regular’ ears doesn’t mean the subconscious won’t absorb them; however, the fact that you’re thinking about the fact that you may not be able to hear them is already creating resistence in your mind.
You can lower the affirmations or let them be heard clearly, whichever procedure suits you best!

  6. Do you think a recording of a chapter of a book (study) would work as a subliminal to help learn material.

    1. Hey! I definitely believe it would; I have benefited from this technique in the past when it came to studying, and I can tell you it certainly helped me.

  7. should we change the frequency of affirmation? is it fine if i hear the affirmation in between the music? is it fine if i didnt hear the affirmations in the music ?like.. i am confused about that …in which frequency will subconsious mind will take the affirmations….will it take if my conscious could hear the affirmations?

    1. Hearing the affirmations does not “damage” their effectiveness one bit; just like not hearing them does not prevent you from getting results. There are silent subliminals out there as well, and many people seem to prefer them over the ‘regular’ ones; subliminals are just as effective whether you hear them or not, don’t worry! ✨

      1. is layering and merging the subliminal is same or different and please tell me is subliminals really work if you merge or layer and speed up

  8. Can I use a song like pop song for example michael jackson’s and add affirmitations behind or will it muddle with my subconscious mind

    1. Hello, thank you for reading!

Adding a song will not ‘damage’ your affirmations or anything, don’t worry. I would recommend picking a song (or multiple songs) you really like, so you won’t grow tired or bored listening!

  9. I would like to know how soft or loud do your affirmations need to be when putting it into music?
Do you need to hear them and understand them for it to work?
I use solffegio 417hz music where i put my music in with Steinberg Cubase 5 that i still have from my days of professional musician. But i can’t seem to find how loud the affirmations need to be in the music.

  10. Hi!
I wrote out a long list of affirmations. There’s a few different topics in there. Does your subliminal need to be about one subject? Or could I make this mega personalized subliminal for myself do you think, with everything I want to work towards included in it? I’m just not sure if it needs to be about one topic or not.
    Thanks for the article 🙂

    1. Hi, thank you so much for reading!
You can make your subliminal exactly how YOU want, don’t worry about putting too many affirmations in it. You’re the one in control, and you decide how many affirmations and topics you can include.

  11. Thank you so much. I learned a lot through your article and also from the comment section. Nice job.

  12. Thank you so much for this! I’m going to make a subliminal with Wellcome To The Black Parade by MCR.

    1. Hey, thank you for reading!
Best of luck with your project, although I have no doubt it’ll work perfectly thanks to your immaculate music taste ✨
