Hey, pretty people!

If this is not your first time visiting my blog, you probably know how much I love with Tea Tree Essential Oil.

Sure, there are many essential oils out there, and you can make your own out of pretty much anything, but I just find this one to be a staple for everybody.

Tea Tree essential oil has a whole lot of benefits for your skin, which is why I decided to make an entire DIY product dedicated to it. The idea came about while I was trying a similar formulation by Revolution.

I liked that spray, but it was lacking the powerful acne-fighting element this ingredient tipically offers – which is why I decided to take matter in my own hands.

So, are you ready to find out why this spray is so amazing – and how you can craft it up yourself?

Let’s get started!

YOU’LL NEED

  • 1 cup of Distilled Water
  • 30 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil
  • 1-2 tabs of Vitamin E Oil
  • A spray bottle

Like always, we are going to talk a little bit about this product’s benefits.

TEA TREE ESSENTIAL OIL

Tea Tree essential oil is fairly easy to come by, and also relatively cheap. It has a wide range of properties, and contrarly to popular belief does not only help treating acne!

A very interesting feature about this ingredient is that it can easily be used by those who have dry or oily skin indifferently. Allow me to elaborate a bit on that.

This oil has its own moisturizing elements to it: it can help reduce itchiness and irritation in dry complexions, and balance the overall oil production in greasier ones.

Another detail you may appreciate about this oil is its ability to protect the skin from environmental damages, making the skintone look more even and reducing its texture. You may not notice it after one use, but I promise it will be fairly evident in the long run.

Alright, now that we have the product’s specifics out of the way, it’s finally time to get crafting!

There really isn’t much to say about the crafting process of this spray, really.

You simply want to mix the ingredients together as well as you possibly can. It’s a very annoying step, I know, but it’s a crucial one as well. A properly mixed blend will ensure not only a better consistency, but also more effecient and faster results.

When you feel like the consistency is smooth and cohesive, you can finally pour the liquid into the spray bottle.

And your DIY Tea Tree Facial Spray is all ready to go!

Remember to shake it well before using it, though.

  • What do you suggest as a cleanser and moisturizer? Suffering from menopause acne it’s nuts

    • Hi!

If you're more into natural solutions, I would recommend Aloe Vera Gel, Witch Hazel and Rose Water; remember to always do a patch test on your inner forearm to make sure you are not allergic to any of those.

On the other hand, when it comes to store-bought products, I would recommend all of the 30-Days Miracle products by Some By Mi; they're really good and relatively cheap, and you can find them on Amazon!
